Better Off Wet Magazine
Better Off Wet was a vibrant water lifestyle magazine that celebrated the spirit of adventure, relaxation, and living life by the water. Tasked with bringing their vision to life, I designed monthly issues that combined captivating stories, stunning visuals, and engaging advertisements into a seamless, high-quality publication. With tight deadlines and a streamlined creative process, I ensured every issue was a standout reflection of the brand’s personality and mission. From covers to article layouts and even custom ads, this project showcased my ability to balance creativity with efficiency under pressure.
The Challenge
Better Off Wet needed a magazine designer to handle their monthly issues. With a tight turnaround, I was responsible for transforming content—including articles, ads, and visuals—into a cohesive, engaging publication while adhering to the client’s vision and page count.
My Role
As the magazine designer, I:

Designed every article layout and cover for each issue.

Created additional ads for advertisers that were later shared on social media.

Worked independently to meet strict deadlines with limited resources.

Followed the client’s order of articles to ensure the magazine flowed as envisioned.
Design Approach
Using Adobe InDesign, I:

Balanced clean, reader-friendly layouts with vibrant visuals to captivate the audience.

Unfortunately, the magazine disbanded due to funding issues, but my designs were instrumental in elevating the publication during its run.
